INMA Bucharest, through its Product Certification Body – INMA-CERT, offers conformity assessment services for products in the non-regulated (voluntary) field, under non-accredited conditions, for the certification of machines and installations intended for agriculture and the food industry.
INMA-CERT was among the first six certification bodies established in Romania. It was founded in 1995 as an independent entity within the organizational structure of INMA.
Although INMA-CERT does not have its own legal status, it is a well-defined entity within INMA, independent in its certification activities, and operates according to its own rules of organization and operation.
INMA-CERT guarantees the following principles:
Through its own certification system, the body ensures and guarantees equal and non-discriminatory access to all manufacturers, under the same financial conditions, and guarantees its impartiality and objectivity, both through its organizational and functional structure and through the evaluation and certification procedures it has adopted.
The personnel involved in certification activities carried out by INMA-CERT are not the designers, manufacturers, suppliers, installers, buyers, owners, users, or maintenance providers of the product unit submitted for certification, nor are they authorized representatives of any of these parties.
