The mission of the IPR Department

 

The mission of the department is to carry out activities to promote INMA’s image, increase visibility, build new relation with institutions in the field from other countries, provide support for INMA researchers to form consortia / partnerships and write proposals for participating in international project competitions on fundamental, applied research, innovation and digitization in the field of agriculture and food industry (throughout the production chain), in line with the Green Deal Strategy, Resilience Strategy and Farm to Fork Strategy and complying with the principles of the Circular Economy and the Zero concept Waste.

 

International Project Management and Relations

 

  • establishing connections with institutes, universities, economic agents in the same field of activity as INMA and in related fields at international level;
  • continuous information on opportunities to participate in competitions with European / international funds;
  • development and submission of project proposals under European and international programs;
  • participation in conferences, workshops, round tables, brokerages, meetings organized by the economic environment in order to identify new opportunities for collaboration;
  • promoting national scientific and technological identity at national and international level by focusing on internationally competitive frontier research, on topics with potential application at national level, expanding inter- and multidisciplinary research, while maintaining a fundamental and exploratory by participating in competition-based programs.

 

Marketing

 

  • represents INMA at fairs and exhibitions in order to promote the institute and the results of research obtained in the projects carried out;
  • ensures the elaboration of strategy studies for the development of the institute on the Romanian market or in other countries;
  • Promotes the institute through specific activities.

INMA has an active presence at scientific symposia and events, fairs and exhibitions (national and international) where it has won numerous awards over the years.

 

Intellectual Property

 

The activities related to the Intellectual Property of INMA refer to the collaboration relations of the institute with: the State Office for Inventions and Trademarks (OSIM – https://osim.ro/), the Ministry of Research, Innovation and Digitalization (MCID – http://www.research.gov.ro/), with the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Bucharest (CCIB – https://ccib.ro/) and others.
The marketing office in the department provides consulting, drafting and registration services for patent applications, both at national (OSIM) and European (EPO) level.

 

Translations

 

  • articles for the institute’s journal INMATEH-Agricultural Engineering;
  • articles by INMA specialists in order to participate in scientific events in the country / abroad;
  • national / international project proposals;
  • expressions of interest in order to form consortia for international projects;
  • INMA’s annual activity reports;
  • patent abstracts, in order to participate in various international trade fairs, exhibitions or fairs.
