Establishment of the “Testing Station for Agricultural Machines and Tools” in Băneasa, within the Romanian Institute for Agronomic Research, through the founding law of ICAR (Official Gazette no. 97/05.05.1927).
1930
Decision no. 2000/1930 by ICAR Director GHEORGHE IONESCU-ȘIȘEȘTI, outlining the operational rules and role of the “TESTING STATION FOR AGRICULTURAL MACHINES AND TOOLS”.
1952
Establishment of the Scientific Research Institute for the Mechanization and Electrification of Agriculture – ICMEA, by transforming the Testing Station for Agricultural Machines and Tools within ICAR (Council of Ministers Decision no. 543/16.04.1952).
1982
Merger of ICMEA Băneasa with the AGRICULTURAL MACHINERY DESIGN INSTITUTE OTOPENI, leading to the formation of the INSTITUTE FOR RESEARCH, DESIGN, AND TECHNOLOGICAL ENGINEERING OF AGRICULTURAL MACHINERY AND EQUIPMENT – ICPITMUA Băneasa (State Council Decree no. 386/27.10.1982).
1996
Establishment of the National Institute of Research - Development for Machines and Installations Designed for Agriculture and Food Industry – INMA under the coordination of the Ministry of Education and Research (Government Decision no. 1308/25.11.1996, Official Gazette no. 329/1996).
2008
INMA was accredited to carry out publicly funded research and development activities, in accordance with Government Decision 551/2007 and ANCS Decision no. 9634/2008.
2010
INMA was authorized to conduct professional training, qualification, and specialization programs (Authorization Series B No. 2795310 dated 17.02.2010).
2011
INMA received additional authorization to offer: Initiation training for the occupation of Agricultural Machinery Mechanic (COR code 723309, Authorization Series B no. 0004500 / 24.03.2011); Advanced training for the occupation of Computer-Aided Design Specialist (COR code 251401, Authorization Series B no. 0004501 / 2011)
2012
INMA was authorized by the Centre for the Evaluation and Certification of Professional Competencies to offer qualification training for the occupation of Miller (COR code 816020, Authorization Series C no. 00260 / 2012)
