The mission of Manufacturing Department
The mission of the Manufacturing Department is to design and build experimental models, prototypes, and pilot installations, representing the applied component of scientific research activities in the field of processes, technologies, and technical equipment for the mechanization and automation of operations in agriculture and the food industry.
Directions and objectives
In the context of INMA’s institutional development strategy, which is consistently focused on building a competitive research structure capable of creating innovative products and high-quality research services with applications across various production sectors or wherever needed, the main objective of the department is to increase the performance and quality of experimental models, prototypes, and pilot installations.
In this regard, the department also has the capability to manufacture parts, subassemblies, and equipment for third parties, both individuals and legal entities, or in collaboration with various national research and development institutes.
The Manufacturing Department is equipped with computer numerical control (CNC) machines, capable of performing sheet metal processing operations such as:
- Cutting (hydraulic guillotine – CNC)
- Turning and contour cutting (CNC machining center)
- Bending (hydraulic press – CNC) as well as using conventional mechanical processing machines.
Components of the Manufacturing Department
The Manufacturing Department has a professional staff with proven expertise in the production of experimental models and prototypes.
