INFORMATION REGARDING THE PROJECT
The project leader INMA Bucharest as a National Research and Development Institute in Romania, through the information it holds, using the
experience accumulated through its own achievements and through the infrastructure it has (database, station for the execution of
experimental models and prototypes, certified laboratories for carrying out tests and equipped with measuring and control devices, ultra-
modern test stands), has developed skills that contribute substantially to the realization of the proposed project at qualitative parameters
comparable to those presented by other prestigious foreign institutions in the field. The capitalization of the project leader's knowledge/skills
will be done through his participation in the design, realization, testing and demonstration of the functionality and usefulness of the eco-
innovative technology for basic tillage in cereal and vegetable crops and of the related technical equipment as well as the large-scale
dissemination of project results in order to multiply their effects.
Partner 1 SIGMA PATENT STUDIO SRL has knowledge/skills that were obtained as a result of the development and registration at OSIM with
no. A00357/14.05.2013 of the patent application "Equipment and process for basic soil work". The capitalization of the project partner's
knowledge/skills will be done through its participation in the design, realization, testing, demonstration of the functionality and usefulness of
the eco-innovative technology for the basic tillage in cereal and vegetable crops and of the related technical equipment as well as the wide
dissemination of project results in order to multiply their effects.
Partner 2 CEREALFLOR SRL has the skills for the project implementation having always pursued the improvement of the mechanical park with
state-of-the-art technological equipment. Thus, its infrastructure includes a wide range of equipment of Dutch origin, which are intended for
the technology of crop establishment, maintenance, harvesting and processing for retail sale. Soil works can be carried out on the farm -
ploughing, harrowing, sowing, etc., crop maintenance - mechanical weeding, phytosanitary treatments, etc., crop harvesting for bulbs (onions,
garlic), root vegetables, potatoes, etc.
The capitalization of the knowledge/skills of project partner 2 will be done through its participation in testing, demonstrating the functionality
and usefulness of the eco-innovative technology for basic tillage in cereal and vegetable crops and the related technical equipment as well as
the wide dissemination of the project results in order to multiplying their effects.
Partner 3 MORAR PAN COM SRL has the skills for the project implementation because it has always pursued the improvement of the
mechanical park with state-of-the-art technological equipment.
The capitalization of the knowledge/skills of project partner 3 will be done through its participation in testing, demonstrating the functionality
and usefulness of the eco-innovative technology for basic tillage in cereal and vegetable crops and related technical equipment as well as the

Objective of the project
The objective of the cooperation project is to implement in a vegetable or cereal
farm of an eco-innovative technology that performs the basic soil work with
technical equipment provided with curved profiled brackets, fitted after an
innovative geometry on a specially worn cylinder, based on the comparison of the
experimental results obtained with the results of the classical technology, as well
as their compliance with the requirements for organic farming.
Description of project activities:
The main activities of the project aim at reducing the duration of the soil work for
a wide range of weather conditions, reducing the fuel consumption; promoting
innovation and cooperation in the agri-food sector; increasing the degree of
innovation to improve the competitiveness of the rural economy; implementing
innovative solutions to support the specific needs of the agri-food sector; business
development and service provision in rural areas or environmental challenges.

The technical equipment is designed for performing the basic soil work
with curved-profiled hoeing tools, mounted according to an innovative
geometry on a cylinder-shaped rotor. It consists of a frame, a
transmission formed by a cardan shaft, a safety coupling, a central
reducer, and a double-chain transmission, a rotor with curved-profiled
hoeing tools, and a housing for additional soil fragmentation through its
impact on the casing. The working depth is regulated with a toothed
roller Packer and is achieved by limiting the oscillation zone in the
vertical plane of the two arms, with two bolts each fixed in the provided
supports with multiple pairs of holes, mounted on the frame of the
technical equipment.
The equipment achieves a much better soil processing compared to that
performed by a plow, as it does not turn the furrow, and the plant
residues are uniformly mixed in the mass of the land, allowing their
decomposition and increasing soil fertility. Also, the technical equipment
does not disturb the soil because it operates at a rotor speed of
approximately 90...95 rotations per minute and processes it efficiently
processes the soil to depths of about 40 cm. The working width is 2.4
meters and can be carried on the three-point suspension mechanism of
tractors with a power range from 150 HP to 180 HP and the forward
speed is 5...6 km/h.
